Important Notice for Delegates


The complimentary shuttle services are provided by the Conference for all delegated and accompanying persons travelling between Phuket International Airport, the conference venue (Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket) and the nearby hotels (Centara Karon Resort Phuket and Mercure Phuket Deevana).
When you enter the arrivals hall of the airport, please look for the signposts bearing the Conference’s logo, which will direct you to the waiting room for the shuttle services. The waiting room is located on the same floor of the Arrivals hall, to the North side of the terminal building (or towards the International Arrivals side of the terminal building).
Please note: Airport Transfers are available exclusively for delegates and guests who stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, Centara Karon Resort Phuket and Mercure Phuket Devana only. Conference participants who stay at other hotels need to arrange your own transportation.
It is recommended to book the airport shuttle services before arriving in Phuket to ensure that the seat(s) will be available. To book the shuttle services, please contact the Conference Registrar via, and please provide us with your flight details to and from Phuket before you arrive.
Service Hours
  • From Phuket Airport to the hotels:  November 12-13, 2013 from 8 am to 10 pm
  • Shuttle services between the venue hotel and the satellite hotels: November 12-15, 2013 from 7 am to 10 pm
  • From the hotels to Phuket Airport: November 15, 2013 from 8 am to 10 pm
The shuttle vans depart every 15-30 minutes.

Transportation to Siam Niramit Phuket for the Special Dinner and Cultural Show on November 14, 2013

Shuttle services will also be available and for delegates travelling between Siam Niramit Phuket and Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, Centara Karon Resort Phuket and Mercure Phuket Deevana on November 14, 2013. The shuttle vans will depart from these hotels at 5 pm.



Registration is now closed!

The organizing committee would like to inform you that registration for the WIOC 2013 has been closed since October 21, 2013. This is because the number of registered delegates has reached the capacity of the conference venue. Please accept our sincere apologies for not being able to accept any more participants.
An updated list of registered delegates, including the details of hotel reservations will be available from November 1, 2013. Conference participants are encouraged to verify your registration information. Please feel free to contact us for further inquiries at or

Registered delegates will be able to collect the badge and the conference kit, as well as to purchase additional ticket(s) for the social program during the following times:
  • Tuesday, November 12: from 8 am to 4 pm
  • Wednesday, November 13: from 7.30 am to 4 pm
  • Thursday, Novebmer 14: from 8 am to 12 pm


The registration desk will be located near the Phuket Ballroom.


Delegates Staying at Centara Karon Resort Phuket

IMPORTANT NOTICE: For conference delegates and accompanying persons who have book the accommodation at Centara Karon Resort Phuket, the hotel has notified the organizing commitee that the preferred type(s) of beds that you have requested are subject to availability due to high demand during the peak season in Phuket, and the hotel may not be able to offer the preferred type(s) of beds as per your requests.

We do apologize for any inconvenience. This matter is beyond our control because this is solely up to the hotel's decision. You will be notified by the hotel's staff upon checking-in whether your preferred type(s) of beds will be available.
